Overview:
Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) uses Phoenix Integration’s software solutions to save time and improve efficiency when performing multivariate studies involving a large number of scenarios. This technique was applied to Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM)—a government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) tool for engagement level war gaming, air and missile defense and communications.
CSC used PHX ModelCenter® as wrapping interface for EADSIM, to make and track changes to scenario input files, perform analyses and retrieve output data. PHX CenterLink® was then used to compile the analysis data, accelerate simulations, run integrated processes faster and execute multiple copies of EADSIM in parallel.
CSC achieved close to maximum (93%) CPU use by running multiple copies of VM machines with PHX CenterLink versus 33% computer efficiency when using a quad core computer without PHX Centerlink.
